Electric Vehicle Company Selects KP Engineering for Structural Engineering Project

HOUSTON (July 24th, 2023) – KP Engineering, a Shaw Group Company, is pleased to announce it has been selected for structural engineering and design on a project destined for fabrication. The client, a public automotive and energy company, designs, develops, manufactures, sells, and leases electric vehicles and energy generation and storage systems.

KPE’s scope includes the assessment and audit of all structural supports and ISOs to optimize delivery for fabrication. The project award is the result of a successful working relationship with the client where KPE has delivered the design and electrical engineering optimization of all flange breaks, isometrics, cable tray sizing and layouts, and process and instrumentation diagrams.

This project award evidences KPE’s ability to provide superior value-based engineering solutions to markets including renewable fuels, hydrogen, syngas, refining and specialty chemicals.
