KP Engineering received two safety awards from the Safety Council of East Texas, Inc. (SCET) during a ceremony held on April 19, 2018 in Longview, Texas. The first award was for Zero Incident Rate for 2017. The second award, which covered a much longer time period, was for “14 Years Worked – Zero Incidents”. Both awards were based on OSHA Form 300 submissions.

“KP Engineering is proud of our safety record and is committed to incorporating safe practices in all of our work processes,” commented Michael Merritt, Vice President of Construction, of KP Engineering. “The fourteen-year run with zero incidents is truly remarkable. However, we want to make sure that future performance is equally as good. As such, we strive to maintain a culture that fosters and implements safe work practices in all aspects of our business.”
