Propane Refrigeration Project Wins Excellence In Construction Award

KP Engineering’s construction partner on the Targa LEP2 Refrigeration Project in Galena Park, Texas has won an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Greater Houston. Ref-Chem L.P. was presented the award at the 2014 Excellence in Construction Awards Gala held at the Wortham Theater in Houston on October 30, 2014. KP Engineering provided detailed design and procurement services on this project and worked closely with Ref-Chem to ensure a successful project from concept to completion.

“It was apparent to us many times during the course of this project that the interface between detailed engineering and field construction was virtually seamless and reflective of superior project execution,” remarked Bill Heimbaugh, Vice President of Sales for KP Engineering. “We are not surprised that this project was recognized by the ABC for construction excellence.”
